Æthelmearc Kingdom ILoI dated 2019-03-22

Greetings unto Sofie Silver Buccle and the College of Heralds of the Kingdom of Æthelmearc. This is Æ215, internal letter of intent. It is the intent of the Garnet office to submit the following elements to the Laurel Sovereign of Arms for registration.

1: Andriú mac Domhnall -New Name & New Device

Argent, flames issuant from base gules, on a chief purpure, three cauldrons argent.

Sound (None provided) most important.

Astra is taken from astrakhan, which is a city well mining area from the 14th century. Client provided no evidence it was ever used as a name. Client provided no documentation for either Maria or Royarchevicha.

We are seeking anything that may come remotely close to the client's desires.


3: Eadric Aylwin Bolton -New Device

OSCAR finds the name registered exactly as it appears in December of 2016, via Æthelmearc.

Azure, a castle of two towers issuant from base and on a chief argent three dragons' heads cabossed sable.

6: Layla al-Ghudariyyah -Resub Device

OSCAR finds the name registered exactly as it appears in October of 2017, via Æthelmearc.

Purpure, on a mullet of six points Or an increscent azure.

Herald of Record: Saiman Tokushou

Client's original submission was returned on the October 2017 LoAR:

Layla al-Ghudariyyah. Device. Azure, on a mullet of six points argent between six crescents in annulo points outward Or a decrescent gules.

This device is returned for use of the restricted motif of the Red Crescent, which is a single gules decrescent on any argent background or in any way that could be displayed on an argent background.

There is a step from period practice for having charges in annulo not in their default orientation.

This is a moderate redesign.
