MAIL ME my
Artemisia ILoI dated 2018-08-27
Unto the Golden Wing and members of the College of Heralds, greetings. Please consider the following items:
1: Dragy Dichkov -New Name Change
OSCAR NOTE: filing name should not be registered for a primary name change. It was, in in December of 2018, via Artemisia.
Old Item: Nicolai Urseler, to be retained as an alternate name.
Submitter desires a masculine name.
Dragy is found as a variation of Dragii in 1477. On the same internet page we find the name Dichkov, patronymic variation of Dik dated 1571. This make it a plausible combination because these are within 100 years of each other, in the same region/language, and built using the guidelines set in "Paul Goldschmidt's Dictionary of Russian Names - Grammar."
2: Rebekah of Loch Salann -New Name & New Device
Per pale sable and argent, on a goutte three gouttes one and two and in chief a label all counterchanged
Submitter desires a feminine name.
Meaning (Name and location) most important.
I, [redacted], known in the SCA as Dáirine of Oak Hill, give [redacted], known in the SCA as Rebekah of Loch Salann, permission for her armory "Per pale sable and argent, on a goutte three gouttes one and two and in chief a label all counterchanged." to look similar to, but not identical to, my armory, "Per pale sable and argent, on a goutte three gouttes one and two counterchanged."
I understand that this permission cannot be withdrawn once [redacted]'s armory is registered.
