Lochac KLoI dated 2019-10-07

Unto the Lochac College of Heralds does Lord Bjǫrn Bjarnylr Bassason ór Bjarneyu, Rocket Herald, being submissions deputy to the noble Lady Amanda Martel, Crux Australis Principal Herald of the majestic and seagirt Kingdom of Lochac, send Greetings!

As you'll notice on this and most other letters, OSCAR requires a full-colour and a black and white/lineart version of each armorial submission. Currently Lochac has a very robust practice of providing those lineart versions with submissions so Rocket just has to clip them and upload rather than having to render the whole thing. That is fantastic, and I thank you all for your continued service in that.

I would however like to ask a small favour.

These image files that need to be uploaded into OSCAR are merely of the device themselves, whereas Rocket only ever currently receives different versions of the entire form. I'm not sure whether that is a vestige of physical form practices, but either way these all require Rocket to crop each image individually before uploading them to OSCAR. This is on its own a poultry task, but on larger letters can add up to over an hour of extra work on its own.

As such, I'd like to ask that if it be reasonably manageable by consulting heralds and submitters, please include in your emails a cropped colour copy and cropped lineart copy of the device/badge in addition to the form. This will make the submission process continually smoother.

So, without further ado.

It is our intent to register the following items.

1: Catalÿn Gárdonyi -New Device
