Greetings unto the An Tir College of Heralds from Elizabeth Lions Blood!

A reminder: pretty please advise your submitters to make sure their armory is drawn and submitted on the standard form. In February 2019, a device was returned by Laurel administratively for this reason, and I fixed two submissions on this letter before publishing it this month with approval from those submitters.

Thank you to those of you who have continued to comment; your work is extremely appreciated.

"Tessa di Piero" is a Florentine female given name recorded in the Florence Catasto of 1427. This collection of names can be found on the website "Names in 15th Century Florence and her Dominions: The Condado" by Juliana de Luna, copyright 2008, accessed 3/20/19. This website sites "Tessa" and "Piero" as names in the tax survey. "Tessa" is found on the webpage http://www.s-gabriel.org/names/juliana/condado/womensalpha.html. "Piero" is a masculine name and appears in the Condado as a patronym as well as a name in its own right. It is recorded on page http://www.s-gabriel.org/names/juliana/condado/mensalpha.html. A given name such as "Tessa" was often followed by "di" (of) and the father or husband's name. Thus, "Tessa di Piero" refers to "Tessa of her father Piero".
