An Tir KLOI from An Tir dated 2023-01-08 Greetings unto Black Lion, Demi-Lion and the College of Heralds. Please find herein this month's submissions for An Tir. I am forever grateful for the advice of my deputies, Master Iago and Countess Elisabeth and the College at large. I am especially grateful to all the heralds who consulted at Collegium this month! Well done! My sadness is that we see Iago leave us for larger pastures as he takes on the Mantle of Wreath. We wish him well! We welcome Lord Malyss as Acting-Boar in his stead. This letter will open for commentary by heralds from outside of An Tir on the 15th of January. Commentary on this letter closes on February 7th, 2023. Xīnnián hǎo (新年好), Happy New Year! May peace and prosperity come to mind often this year! Commentators, please cite references to SENA when noting problems. Please provide executive summaries for any extended commentary. Thank you

OSCAR is unable to find the name, either registered or submitted.
Ordo Vitae
Checky Or and argent, on a lotus blossom in profile a flame argent
Submitter is the Kingdom of An Tir, registered as such as of December 1981
From the Lewis & Short Latin Dictionary, "Vitae" literally means "life", but by transference it also carries the meanings "a living, support" and "a way or mode of life" https://alatius.com/ls/index.php?met=up&ord=Vitae Additionally, Florio's 1611 Italian English Dictionary shows the Italian version (vita) as meaning "life, natural vigor" Together these meanings would support the argument that Vitae could be categoraized as an abstract quality like "Love", and would fit without naming conventions allowing order names to be constructed of abstract qualities.
Lewis & Short describes Ordo by trnasference as "an order, i.e., a rank, class, or degree of citizens) https://alatius.com/ls/index.php?met=up&ord=Ordo
