Unto the Sovereigns and members of the College of Arms of the Society, does Khalidah bint Yahya'a, Rampart Herald send her greetings.

What follows is the July 2017 Letter of Intent for the Kingdom of the Outlands.

I would like to thank Green Anchor & The NE Calontir Commenting Group, Michael Gerard Curtememoire, Garnet, Andrew von Otelingen, and all of the heralds who were kind enough to contribute to internal commentary on OSCAR.

It is my intent to register this July the following items from the Outlands' College of Heralds.

1: Ansteys Darcy - New Badge

OSCAR finds the name registered exactly as it appears in May of 2016, via the Outlands.

2: Dawn Schadue - New Device Change

OSCAR finds the name registered exactly as it appears in September of 2013, via the Outlands.

Old Item: Per chevron gules and Or, a phoenix face to sinister counterchanged and issuant from base a demi-sun sable, to be retained as a badge.


3: Ealusaid of Ardrenk - New Badge

OSCAR finds the name registered exactly as it appears in November of 2015, via the Outlands.

The previous submission, (Fieldless) On a portcullis vert a G-Clef Or, was returned on the March 2014 LoAR (http://heraldry.sca.org/loar/2014/03/14-03lar.html#Outlands_returns16) with the following: {This device is returned for redraw, for violating SENA A2C2 which states "Elements must be drawn to be identifiable." No evidence was presented that this is a period form of a G-clef, and commenters were unable to identify it.}
