FROM KLOI: Corrected submission type. Orle provided additional documentation, below:
E.H. Lind Dopnamn col. 778 s.n. <Mæva> has this as the name of a daughter of one of the Icelandic settlers, placing the name in the late 800s.
In cols. 493-498 s.n. <Hávarðr>, the headword shows the genitive ending as <-z>. In the cited examples, Lind shows the genitive ending as <-ar> (1224, 1307, 1321, 1323, 1331, 1347, 1348, 1375, 1392, 1445), <-z> (1224, 1345, 1376, 1384, 1391, 1404, 1461, 1468), and <-s> (1347, c.1400s, 1447, 1461, 1483). Generally, I'd expect the <-ar> ending with that <-ðr> in the nominative form, and I'll bet that's probably the earliest. The <-z> ending would be my second pick for an early genitive. I think <-s> is way late.
Lena Peterson's Nordiskt Runnamnslexikon s.n. <Hárvarðr> has it from the following inscriptions:
N140, Vestfold, Norway, Viking Age
Vg181, Vastergötland, Sweden, c.1010-1040
