Calontir ILoI dated 2017-05-30

Wesaþ hal!

To Saito Takauji Gold Falcon and the esteemed members of the College of Heralds comes this missive from Dorcas Whitecap, Eyas. I seek your wise counsel on the following submissions, to prepare them for registration:

1: Alfgeirr skytja -Resub Device Change

OSCAR finds the name registered exactly as it appears in March of 2003, via Calontir.

Or, a chimerical monster with the head of an owl and the body of a bear rampant guardant between three decrescents purpure

Old Item: Vert, on a Mongolian yurt argent an owl sable, to be retained as a badge.

The original device change was returned by Laurel on the December 2016 LoAR:

Alfgeirr skytja. Device change. Or, a chimerical monster with the head of an owl and the body of a bear rampant gardant purpure.

This device is returned for conflict with the device of Matilda Beresford: Erminois, a bear rampant purpure. There is a DC for changing the field tincture. However, the difference between the creature submitted here and a bear is essentially the details of the face and not sufficient to grant a DC and we do not grant a DC for the position of the head.
