Greetings unto Konrad, Dragon and Rouge Scarpe, and the commenting Heralds of the Middle Kingdom. Enclosed are the submissions receieved in the month of May, 2016. Commentary is due by June 16, 2016.

1: Aíne ingen Uí Briain -New Device

OSCAR thinks the name is registered as Áine ingen Uí Briain in October of 2014, via the Middle.

On a field vert in chief Or, in marginal symmetry two celtic knots cert, in base a dove striking argent.


2: Aodhagán mac Ceallaigh -Resub Device

OSCAR finds the name registered exactly as it appears in May of 2015, via the Middle.

Per pale sable, vert and Or, an eagle argent and two battle axes countercharged.

The previous submission, which was identical in content was returned administratively for using a modified escutcheon that does not quite fit the Laurel-approved form, in the June 2015 LoAR.

Per saltire purpure and vert, a saltire Or, in chief a celtic cross, in fess two griffins passant, and in base a griffin passant argent.


5: Layla al-Zarqa' -Resub Badge

OSCAR finds the name registered exactly as it appears in April of 2011, via the Middle.

(Fieldless) on an oak leaf argent, a squirrel proper.

The previous submission was returned for redraw in the January 2016 LoAR, for violating SENA A2C2 which states "Elements must be drawn to be identifiable." The acorn was unidentifiable as is quite small, has no contrast, and is partially obscured by the squirrel's paws.

"Djolka" is based on the name of <Dijoka ver Zee>. This name was not registered. However, reputable gentles report that she researched early Frisian names and found that the spelling "Djolka" was more historically accurate. Our research into Frisian names found a modern name "Dialke" which is clearly related, but not that specific spelling. Submitters would prefer something as close to "Djolka" as possible.
