Cera is cited as an early Irish given name in Academy of Saint Gabriel report 2057, http://www.panix.com/~gabriel/public-bin/showfinal.cgi?2057+0

It was suggested that it be for an early name (through 1200 or so), since no evidence of the name has been found later in period. It is also found in O'Corrain and Maguire, p. 50, s.n. Cera (undated, but the pre-1600 form).

Eiríkr is a male given name found on p. 9 of Geirr Bassi

Kona is found in "The Bynames of the Viking Age Runic Inscriptions" by Lindorm Eriksson. Kona is found in the names of Wives section.

Https://www.s-gabriel.org/names/lindorm/runicbynames/wives.htm#start

The third column, which reads "V post-Jelling". refers to the era of the inscription. The explanation for that can be found at:

http://www.s-gabriel.org/names/lindorm/runicbynames/ which tells us it means "ca. 1000 - ca 1050" which lets us know that ____Kona can be mixed with a Gaelic name, so long as the Gaelic name is pre-1100.

In Old norse , someone's wife was indicated by {genitive form of the male name + kona}

5: Eschina MacDonell -New Name
